Visitor Guide – Michelin Grand Prix of Hungary 2025

I. VENUE
Venue: Balaton Park Circuit, Balatonfőkajár

Friday: 8:00-18:00
Saturday: 8:00-19:00
Sunday: 8:00-18:00

 

III. PARKING
VIP Parking
This parking area is reserved for visitors with VIP tickets.
The VIP parking lot is accessible from all directions. When approaching the main entrance of Balaton Park Circuit, the VIP parking area is located on the right.

Yellow Parking
This parking area is designated for visitors with tickets to the Main Grandstand, as well as Tribunes A and B.

  • For visitors arriving from Budapest: take Exit 90 from the M7 motorway and head towards Veszprém on Route 710.
  • For visitors arriving from Siófok: take Exit 90 from the M7 motorway and head towards Balatonfüred on Route 71. At the first roundabout, take the first exit towards Route 710. At the second roundabout, again take the first exit towards Route 710 / Budapest Motorway.

Entry to the Yellow Parking: HERE
A temporary exit has been created from Route 710, approximately 1 km from the junction with the M7 motorway exit.

Green Parking
This parking area is designated for visitors with tickets to Tribunes C, D, E, F, and G.

  • For visitors arriving from Budapest: take Exit 80 from the M7 motorway towards Lepsény/Polgárdi.
  • For visitors arriving from Siófok: take Exit 90 from the M7 motorway towards Balatonvilágos/Enying.
  • Visitors arriving via Route 7 should continue along Route 7. From there, Balatonfőkajár can be reached through Lepsény.
  • From the direction of Csajág and Füle, the circuit can be accessed through Balatonfőkajár.

Blue Motorcycle Parking
Visitors arriving by motorcycle can approach the blue (motorcycle) parking via the Airport Road from any direction.
A free cloakroom service will be provided in the blue parking area for motorcycle visitors.

Caravan Camping Parking
This area is reserved exclusively for motorhomes and caravans. It is a designated overnight parking zone for visitors holding entry tickets. Access to the caravan parking is through the Yellow Parking entry point.

IV. Travel from Budapest to the MotoGP Hungarian Grand Prix with MotoGP Express!
Fans can take advantage of free KISS train from Kelenföld to Csajág railway station and back to Kelenföld on Saturday and Sunday upon presentation of a valid ticket.
Those arriving by train at the railway station can take advantage of free electric shuttle buses to the race track, which can also be used with a valid ticket.
Those arriving at the station by scheduled train can also board the bus.

V. Take BOLT taxi to the Balaton Park Circuit race track
HUMDA Zrt.’s contracted passenger transport partner for races in Hungary is Bolt taxi. We recommend that anyone wishing to travel to the race track by taxi download the app in advance to enjoy a fast, comfortable and reliable journey to and from the race venue!

 

VI. Roadblock
In Balatonfőkajár, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between 06:00 and 18:00, a road closure will be in effect at the intersection of Ady Endre Street and Petőfi Sándor Street. During this time, access to Balatonfőkajár in the direction of Balaton Park Circuit will only be permitted for residents with an entry permit, motorcycles and bicycles, or accredited vehicles.
On Route 710, from the roundabout towards Balaton Park Circuit (Balatonfőkajár), entry will only be possible for vehicles with the appropriate authorization during the closure.

VII. Buses
Tourist buses will enter via Airport Road. Passengers can disembark at the temporary bus stop located behind Grandstand “G.” Empty buses may proceed through Lepsény to reach Route 71 and enter the designated temporary bus parking area from that direction, where they must remain until the daily closure of the event.

 

VIII. Entry
Two entrance gates have been set up, designated according to ticket type – please check your ticket to see which entrance you should use.
Children under 14 years of age may only enter when accompanied by an adult.

 

IX. On-Site Card Payment
The entire event area is cashless. Purchases can be made with bank cards or HelloPay cards. HelloPay cards can be easily topped up at designated HelloPay points, located behind the Main Grandstand, at Tribunes A, C, and G, as well as at the beverage tent next to the Caravan Buffet.

XIII. What Can You Bring?

Allowed:

  • Food and drinks for personal consumption (in non-commercial quantities, maximum 0.7-liter plastic bottle).
  • Handbag, backpack, stroller, umbrella (umbrellas may not be opened in the grandstands to ensure clear visibility for all spectators).

Prohibited Items:

  • Sharp or dangerous objects (knives, weapons, explosives).
  • Glass bottles, smoke bombs, firecrackers, laser pointers, drones.
  • Musical instruments, chairs, tents, helmets, scooters, mopeds, etc.
  • Animals, except for assistance or guide dogs.

 

XIV. Photo and Video Recording
Continuous recording will take place during the event – by attending, you consent to your face, voice, and behavior being displayed on big screens or live TV broadcasts.

 

XV. Important Rules

  • Disturbances, dangerous behavior, and hate speech are strictly prohibited; violators may be expelled from the event area.
  • Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are only permitted in designated smoking areas.
  • Commercial or advertising activity is not allowed; violations will result in expulsion from the event.
  • First aid and medical services will be available on-site.

 

XVI. Dining and Shopping

  • Alcohol will not be served to visitors under 18 years of age.
  • Payments can be made by bank card or HelloPay (with top-up stations available at the event).


XVII. Additional Information

  • The event may be canceled in case of extreme weather conditions.
  • Lost and found items or complaints can be reported at the information points.
  • The organizer does not take responsibility for valuables left on-site.
  • Bicycle storage is available at the main entrance and at the two spectator entrances (Entrances 4 and 6), with supervised options.
  • Purchased food and beverages may be consumed under shaded areas near the catering zones.
  • Cameras may be brought in, but broadcast cameras are strictly prohibited.
  • There are no charging facilities for e-bikes.
     

XVIII. Noise
Motorsport can be extremely loud, especially close to the track. While noise levels in most grandstands are manageable, it is recommended to wear earplugs if you are seated near the action. If you are bringing children, please ensure they are protected with appropriate hearing protection, such as headphones.
